Aries is the first of all the zodiac signs, and as such, they tend to be filled with energy. Many Aries go out searching for challenges and new experiences to help push them to be the best selves that they can be. They are always testing the boundaries and limits of their own strengths. Those born under this zodiac sign are filled with drive, ambition and curiosity. They are rather competitive people - both in things like careers, as well as in games and sports. Most of them have quite an innocent air to them - they tend to be optimistic and positive even when the going gets tough.
When confronted, many under this zodiac sign are also hot-headed and unafraid of starting - and finishing - an argument. They usually do this with good intentions though, as they also are gifted with a strong sense of justice and feel compelled to defend those that cannot defend themselves. There is a fire that burns within the Aries zodiac sign - and if they learn how to control and make use of that fire, they can climb far into the heights that they desire.
Aries is a fire zodiac sign that loves to step up and take charge when dealing with love and romance. When they fall for someone, they will express their emotions to their loved one without giving it too much consideration. Aries may even give their lover so much care and attention that now and then, they can neglect to check in and see whether they are being loved in return! They are exceptionally enthusiastic and vigorous, and they cherish new adventures and challenges.
Because their opposing sign is Libra, propriety and discretion is not something that comes naturally to their characters. This can introduce a problem; they don't have enough tolerance and patience for their lovers sometimes. All things considered, their lovers should remember that the Aries zodiac sign requires passion and fervor at all times, and their relationship can only be solid and durable if their more primal needs are met.
When it comes to romance, the Aries zodiac sign will bring their inner glow and vitality to their relationships. They can be extremely adoring and exceptional partners, but they also require a lover who shares their energy.

Many of them fall in love quite quickly, and are very straightforward with what their wants and needs are. No speculating from their lovers is required, which can be rather refreshing. They seek adoration, and follow their desires with the same passion that they have in other parts of their lives. While they are extraordinary initiators, they now and again require a touch of support to follow through - but little expressions of praise should be more than enough to give them the energy, as long as they are sincere.
In a relationship, one should be aware of Aries and their competitive nature. If an Aries zodiac sign is dating another similarly aggressive individual, power struggles can arise. Since they like being leaders, it is difficult for them to be bossed around. When it comes to confrontation, offer suggestions and give recommendations - let them discover their own solutions in their own manner and pace.

Individuals under the Aries zodiac sign tend to require a considerable amount of activity and adventure to do with their partners. Sometimes they can also be jealous, as they want the full attention of their lover. But if they are secure in the belief that they hold the greatest importance in their sweetheart's life, they may be less possessive. They are loyal lovers and their passion and energy means that they tend to feel deep regret if they hurt their companions in any capacity.
When it comes to work and careers, the Aries zodiac sign shines bright. Their workplace is the ideal environment for their desire and imagination to manifest, with them battling to be they best that they can be. They are natural leaders, meaning that Aries likes to manage instead of being managed. Their speed and immense vitality means that they are usually one step ahead of every other person. All they have to do to be successful is follow their path of choice and not abandon their plans when they are overcome by their strong emotions. Rivalry does not trouble them, but rather urges them to work considerably harder. They can have extraordinary careers in sports and other challenging lines of work, and make the most of their careers as managers, policemen, soldiers, and so forth.
The Aries zodiac sign love spending their money and taking risks - even though the wiser side of them may know that saving up for a rainy day is important. They embrace the moment and aren't too concerned about the future, and this can make them irrational with regards to financial choices. All things considered, they still appear to have a good knack for earning.
Since the zodiac constellations were first cataloged by astronomers in ancient Greece, many of the stories that are associated with them come their mythology. We noted a few of them below.
In western mythology, Aries the Ram appears in several Greek myths. When King Athamus took Ino, his second wife, into marriage, she was filled with jealousy over his children - two twins - from his first wife, a goddess named Nephele. So she plotted a way to eliminate them. She burned all of her kingdom’s crop in secret, and then bribed an oracle to lie and say that a sacrifice was required to avoid famine. The sacrifice was to be the twins, Phrixus and Helle. The King agreed, but as they twins were about to be sacrificed, they are rescued by a Ram with golden fleece. This ram was an answer to the former queen Nephele’s prayers to Zeus. On the way to safety, one of the twins, Helle, faints and drowns in the sea, but her twin brother lives, taken in by the sun god Helios. As thanks, the Ram was sacrificed to the gods, and its golden fleece was given to the King Aeetes. The King had the golden fleece guarded by a never-sleeping dragon in a sacred grove that was beloved by the god of war, Ares. That ram with the golden fleece then became the constellation known as Aries.
Years later, Jason - the leader of a band of heroes known as the Argonauts, returns to his hometown, where his uncle - King Pelias, has stolen the throne from his father. King Pelias presents Jason with a challenge, one that he is certain is impossible. Jason is to retrieve the golden fleece, now a symbol for authority and royal power, from the land of Colchis, where King Aeetes rules. There, King Aeetes gives Jason a set of 3 tasks that he must complete in order to obtain the golden fleece. Jason completes the tasks with the help of Medea, the daughter of King Aeetes, and returns to Greece and ascends the throne as the rightful heir.
